We are seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Corizon Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality behavioral health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and well-being.
  • Perform psychosocial assessments and mental health intake evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide behavioral health consultation to members of the clinical team and correctional personnel to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and training to staff on behavioral health topics and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and reports.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Unrestricted, current license in the state of Kentucky (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist).
  • Experience in a correctional setting preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
