Job Overview

At Event Source, our team members are essential to our success, embodying our commitment to excellence in service and product quality. We are currently looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to become part of our Laundry production team.


Position Highlights:

The Laundry Operations Associate will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation for our inventory, ensuring that our clients receive only the best quality products.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections and maintain our inventory, which includes items such as napkins, tablecloths, seat covers, and runners.
  • Utilize both manual and automated processes to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Operate the ironer/mangle for linen finishing.
  • Achieve production goals set by management.
  • Promote a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Keep the receiving dock organized and clean.
  • Accurately count, size, and package items.
  • Wash linens following both manufacturer and company protocols.
  • Sort and label linens for proper identification.
  • Organize, fold, and pack items according to company specifications.
  • Exemplify the company's Core Values: Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART).
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Work Environment:
  • Work primarily occurs in a warehouse setting, which may not be climate-controlled.
  • Outdoor exposure may be encountered during work hours.
  • Temperature extremes may be experienced in the warehouse.
  • Clothing may become wet in the washing area.
  • Continuous exposure to moving belts during ironing tasks.
  • Prioritize safety when using potentially hazardous equipment.
  • Handle all cleaning chemicals with care.
  • Expect physical demands, including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.
  • Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Workdays: Monday to Friday, with optional weekends based on workload.
  • Overtime opportunities may arise during peak seasons.
  • Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
  • Basic math skills, including understanding of fractions, percentages, and ratios.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competence in interpreting various forms of instructions.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and lifting for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments.
  • Completion of a 5-minute Behavioral Assessment is required.
  • Must pass a company background check and drug screening.
