About the Role

USAA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Crimes department, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical techniques to identify and prevent financial fraud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address complex business objectives.
  • Apply innovative and scientific analytical approaches to drive fact-based decision-making.
  • Communicate complex analysis and findings to various levels of management.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data and analytics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field or 4 years of related experience.
  • 6 years of data and analytics experience or a combination of experience and education.
  • Advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques, data analysis tools, and data visualization.
  • Experience with new and emerging data sets and incorporation into new insights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in First-party fraud strategy.
  • Expertise in Model Risk Management and associated documentation.
  • Knowledge in at least one product area with first-hand experience building strategies to prevent fraud.
  • Experience with multiple coding languages and visualization tools.
