Job Title: Coordinator, Service Center

Overview of the Role: As a Coordinator in the Service Center at TForce Freight, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing various operational processes to ensure optimal efficiency and superior customer satisfaction.

Position Summary: The Operations Supervisor is dedicated to achieving exceptional performance metrics while providing outstanding service to clients. This position encompasses the management of operations related to Dock, Pickup & Delivery (P&D), and Road, focusing on customer service, productivity, quality freight handling, claims mitigation, load averages, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, organizes, and directs all assigned personnel.
  • Enforces security measures and loss prevention strategies.
  • Develops and supervises safety protocols in accordance with Company, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Creates action plans to achieve productivity goals, load averages, cube utilization, and service objectives.
  • Works in conjunction with Central Dispatch to enhance freight movement efficiency.
  • Schedules staff based on operational demands and service needs.

Qualifications:

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Must reside in the same geographic area as the position or be willing to relocate.
  • Exceptional organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills are crucial.
  • Previous experience in dock operations or supervisory roles is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
