Core Responsibilities:

  • Appointment Management: Organize and oversee patient appointments, optimizing the use of available time and resources.
  • Phone Communication: Professionally handle incoming calls, addressing patient questions and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Insurance Verification and Billing: Confirm patient insurance details, process claims, respond to billing inquiries, and manage payment collections.
  • Patient Engagement: Welcome patients, assist with check-in procedures, and provide support with necessary documentation.
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate patient records are kept up-to-date and organized.
  • Administrative Assistance: Offer general administrative support to facilitate the efficient operation of the front office.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is advantageous.
