Position Overview: Automotive Service Center Supervisor

As an Automotive Service Center Supervisor at Monro, you will oversee all facets of daily store and workshop operations, ensuring the efficient, productive, and safe functioning of our service bays.

This role serves as an excellent entry point into your career with Monro.

From day one, you will engage in a comprehensive management training program that covers all aspects of your new responsibilities, preparing you for future advancement.

As a manager, you will play a vital role in fostering lasting relationships with our customers.

More importantly, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to delivering five-star guest experiences, utilizing your professional expertise to care for people and their vehicles, ensuring our customers have safe and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets by contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies, possessing a thorough understanding of lube and tire services, as well as other automotive products.
  • Introduce tire and service offerings to customers to enhance sales and promote guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support team members in creating and maintaining a productive sales atmosphere by training and developing staff on all shop operations and customer service.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels by managing the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, and development of employees.
  • Control expenses by managing payroll, communication costs, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other controllable expenditures.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 4+ years of automotive experience and completion of an automotive technical school program or ASE certifications.
- 4+ years of experience in automotive tire sales and service or lube and tire industry experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills, business acumen, and basic math skills for calculating figures such as discounts and percentages.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive State Inspector License.
- ASE Automotive Certifications.
- Proven sales experience in complete auto care, tire sales, and service.
- Supervisory experience in the tire or automotive industry.
