Key Responsibilities

  • Manage provider schedules, calendars, and electronic medical records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and schedules.
  • Resolve appointment conflicts and scheduling issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with training new staff members and provide support during peak periods, vacations, and illnesses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or medical secretary certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record systems.
