Position Overview:

As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing workplace health and safety. Your contributions will support our on-site health and wellness initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer first aid for work-related and non-work-related health issues.
  • Provide ergonomic support and early intervention to alleviate employee discomfort.
  • Conduct pre-employment health assessments, including drug screenings and physical evaluations.
  • Implement preventive health measures such as vaccination clinics and wellness programs.
  • Assist in case management and provide health education for chronic conditions.
  • Engage in wellness activities, including health fairs and screenings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of health incidents and treatments.
  • Collaborate with the safety team as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Current LPN licensure or the ability to obtain it.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to acquire it prior to employment.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation and OSHA guidelines is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the work shift.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively without constant oversight.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
