Our mission focuses on making advanced cancer care accessible, allowing patients to receive treatment close to home, supported by their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates communication between clinic staff and patients as needed
- Ensures accurate and timely message delivery
- Manages patient check-out processes post-examination
- Coordinates follow-up appointments in accordance with established protocols
- Provides patients with comprehensive appointment information and guidelines
- Records and manages cancellations and no-show appointments
- Assists in organizing external testing and referrals
- Follows up on results from external tests
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations
- Performs various administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- Entry Level:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience in a medical office environment
- Intermediate Level: (in addition to Entry Level requirements)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a medical office setting
- Senior Level: (in addition to Entry and Intermediate Level requirements)
- A minimum of five years of experience in a medical office environment
Physical Requirements:
- Position involves sitting and using hands for various tasks
- Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 30 pounds
- Normal visual and auditory capabilities are necessary
Work Environment:
- Regular interaction with patients and healthcare staff
