Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates communication between clinic staff and patients as needed
  • Ensures accurate and timely message delivery
  • Manages patient check-out processes post-examination
  • Coordinates follow-up appointments in accordance with established protocols
  • Provides patients with comprehensive appointment information and guidelines
  • Records and manages cancellations and no-show appointments
  • Assists in organizing external testing and referrals
  • Follows up on results from external tests
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations
  • Performs various administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Entry Level:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 0-3 years of experience in a medical office environment
  • Intermediate Level: (in addition to Entry Level requirements)
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Senior Level: (in addition to Entry and Intermediate Level requirements)
    • A minimum of five years of experience in a medical office environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting and using hands for various tasks
  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 30 pounds
  • Normal visual and auditory capabilities are necessary

Work Environment:

  • Regular interaction with patients and healthcare staff
