Cayuse Holdings Business Development & Sales Director Opportunity

The Cayuse Holdings Business Development & Sales Director is a pivotal role responsible for driving growth and establishing a strong presence among Indigenous organizations. This position requires collaboration with internal and external resources to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.

This critical function is central to the company's success, enabling the development of long-term client relationships and contributing to the expansion of the client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tribal business, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the unique needs and initiatives of Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Native Nations, Tribal entities, and other organizations to generate and close sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to grow the company through innovative approaches to outreach, marketing, business development, and delivery.
  • Assist in shaping service/product offerings to meet the evolving needs of Indigenous populations.
  • Partner with Marketing and other departments to build and execute campaigns that attract quality leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze Requests for Proposals and qualified opportunities to identify potential business ventures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in tribal business or working with/for Native Nations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the unique needs, history, and initiatives of Indigenous communities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Public speaking experience and ability to respond effectively to customers and prospects.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity, fiscal responsibility, critical thinking, and leadership courage.

This is a remote office environment opportunity with a competitive salary range of $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
