Regional Sales Director Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team in Washington DC Maryland-Capital Region Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is responsible for increasing new business sales through establishing strong partnerships with distributors.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for learning and staying informed on health care trends, market intelligence, and product information for all voluntary benefits. You will establish and manage target account lists and pipeline management, follow a comprehensive sales process, and contribute to sales planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase new business sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major worksite and voluntary benefit distributors.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Manage sales pipelines and forecast sales performance.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform sales decisions.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in voluntary product sales or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience generating and analyzing reports to enhance sales performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle conflict with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
