Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned business development executive to lead our geospatial market development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in business development, with a focus on geospatial technologies and their applications within the intelligence community.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for geospatial solutions.
  2. Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the geospatial industry.
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  4. Proposal Management: Develop and manage proposals for geospatial business opportunities.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
  6. Networking: Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and experts.
  7. Portfolio Management: Monitor and report on business development activities and pipeline status.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or engineering.

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active TS/SCI Clearance or above.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of geospatial technologies and their applications within the intelligence community.
  • A proven track record of successfully securing and managing large contracts.
  • Ownership of the business development process and provide longer-term account management to strategic partner accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience growing, mentoring, and leading a team.
  • Strategic insight and execution across the entire capture lifecycle.
  • Proven experience with strategic planning, large-scale capture management, customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships externally with customers and within Woolpert.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency with IC and DoD strategy and acquisition plans.
  • Understanding of the IC / DoD business processes and LSI vendors.
  • Experience with strategy design, project management, and organizational design and change.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%.
