Job Overview

Ascend Rehab Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Speech Therapist to deliver therapeutic services to children in a school environment.

If a school setting isn't your preference, we also provide services in various environments, including home-based therapy, outpatient clinics, and our inclusive preschools. As a multidisciplinary organization, we specialize in Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in clients of all ages.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment plans that cater to the specific requirements of each client.
  • Conduct therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' speech and language abilities.
  • Track client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and educators, to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
  • Offer guidance and support to families and caregivers of clients.
  • Maintain thorough and current documentation regarding client progress and treatment results.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic methods for addressing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
