Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and caring Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Speech Waves, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of pediatric patients, ranging from 18 months to 25 years old, with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat pediatric patients with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address receptive and expressive language delays, auditory processing, and social skills/pragmatics
- Provide feeding and swallowing therapy as needed
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to implement home education programs and promote carryover of skills
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California Speech and Hearing License
- 1 year of experience working with pediatric patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
