Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at Pediatric Play Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, from toddlers to teenagers, and help them develop the communication skills they need to succeed in life.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat children with a range of communication disorders, including articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive disorders, specific language impairment, and childhood apraxia and feeding disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with our team of occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's treatment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of pediatric speech therapy.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
- National certification in SLP (CCC-SLP or ASHA certification).
- Eligibility for California SLP license.
- At least 1 year of experience working with pediatric populations.
