Position Overview
Kelly Services is currently in search of a knowledgeable Industrial Sales Account Executive. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of inside sales experience within the industrial sector, specifically in areas such as oil, gas, valves, pumps, steel, or piping.

Working Hours
Standard hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Compensation
Salary can reach up to $75,000, with the potential for quarterly bonuses that may amount to $1,500 each quarter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cold-call prospecting to maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Collaborate with existing clients regarding industrial oil/gas valves, pumps, and steel fittings.
  • Follow up on open quotes and communicate findings to management.
  • Promptly respond to quotes and ensure accurate tracking in the system.
  • Expedite orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Research customer demographics and keep management informed of market trends.
  • Process order changes and cancellations as necessary.
  • Coordinate with shipping and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in resolving payment and credit issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the management system.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs.
  • Build and sustain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Identify and close upselling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Work closely with management to develop strategic sales approaches.
  • Attend sales meetings for skill enhancement and professional development.
  • Engage in sales campaigns to generate new prospects.
  • Provide follow-up reports on sales activities.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience in the industrial sector.
  • Experience with P21, Activant, or Epicor software is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills over the phone.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive product and customer knowledge.
  • Proven persuasive selling skills.
