Global Client Account Executive

Overview
The Global Client Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's interactions with customers and other businesses. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization is strategically positioned to attract new clients within the AIT Critical Solutions Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and manage significant client accounts, ensuring successful project outcomes, including KPI reporting, customer service, issue resolution, vendor compliance, and client engagement.
- Create tailored solutions that effectively meet client needs, collaborating with various departments and team members as necessary, while consistently engaging with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant government and regulatory compliance standards, including AES, customs regulations, ITAR, and dangerous goods protocols.
- Analyze account data to provide insights and forecasts to management, assisting in the creation of Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to meet or exceed global sales and client expectations.
- Review and manage account budgets, pricing strategies, quotations, and initiatives to enhance cost efficiency.
- Support global sales teams and offices in customer relations, resolving issues, and facilitating client solutions that drive additional business from assigned accounts.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by business needs.

Preferred Skills
- Over 7 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding operations, account management, or sales within the supply chain sector, including 2-3 years in a direct customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with CargoWise, AS, dangerous goods handling, and ITAR regulations is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of air and ocean freight, imports, and exports is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working within a virtual team across various time zones and global locations.
- Skilled in facilitating global conference calls, potentially outside of regular hours, involving customers or operations teams worldwide.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and analytically about business and product challenges.
