Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Human Resources will oversee the global human resources functions of MSR Collective, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures. This role will lead initiatives in human capital, organizational development, talent management, and HR policies, with a focus on branding the organization as an employer of choice to attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment
  • Oversee US labor strategy and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with HR standards
  • Advising on recruitment, retention, succession planning, and leadership development to drive business growth
  • Lead the global HR team, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team leaders, ensuring effective leadership and management
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline, such as HR or business administration
  • Experience in international nonprofit/NGO sector, with a focus on human resources
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse employee populations, with a commitment to organizational values
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and US labor environment, with strong communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel as needed, with a flexible and adaptable approach

  • Problemsolving and crosscultural sensitivity, with attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, with a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence
Preferred Skills:
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification, with fluency in French
  • Nonprofit management experience in global health and international development, with a focus on recruiting international personnel
  • Experience in HR management systems, with a strong understanding of US labor laws and regulations
