We provide a wide array of over 40 programs and services that positively impact more than 140,000 children.

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee our payroll, timekeeping, and benefits operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed timely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs the daily operations of the payroll and benefits team.
  • Establishes, maintains, and evaluates payroll processing systems to guarantee the prompt and precise execution of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Manages employee benefits programs, which may encompass retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and various insurance options such as health, life, and disability coverage.
  • Serves as a knowledgeable resource for managers, supervisors, and employees regarding payroll and benefits management processes.
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and tax obligations related to payroll, year-end filings, taxes, and benefits.
  • Conducts ongoing quality assurance and auditing of payroll calculations and tax responsibilities.
  • Facilitates audits by providing necessary records and documentation to auditors.
  • Documents workflows and revises procedures as needed.
  • Identifies and suggests improvements to payroll processing practices and benefits programs.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits management is essential.
  • Experience with UKG or Dimensions software is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, taxation, regulations, and requirements, as well as preparation, balancing, and internal controls.
  • Experience in benefits administration and enrollment is necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is expected.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

Compensation: Dependent on experience.
