The Payroll & Benefits Manager is essential in steering our payroll, time management, and benefits division. This position is responsible for overseeing the payroll and benefits operations, ensuring that compensation is processed punctually, accurately, and in accordance with governmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directs the daily operations of the payroll and benefits team.
  • Establishes, maintains, and evaluates payroll processing systems to guarantee timely and precise payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
  • Manages employee benefits programs, which may encompass retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and various insurance options such as health, life, and disability coverage.
  • Serves as a knowledgeable resource for managers and employees regarding payroll and benefits management processes.
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and tax obligations related to payroll, including year-end filings and deductions.
  • Conducts ongoing quality control and audits of payroll calculations and tax responsibilities.
  • Facilitates audits by providing necessary documentation and records to auditors.
  • Documents workflows and revises procedures as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities for enhancements in payroll processing and benefits programs.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits management is essential.
  • Experience with UKG or Dimensions is required.
  • A comprehensive understanding of U.S. payroll laws, taxation, and regulatory requirements is necessary.
  • Experience in benefits administration and enrollment is crucial.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is expected.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
