Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager - Extrusion Technology is to spearhead the business development efforts for extrusion machinery within the domestic market while consistently meeting sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their specific requirements.
  2. Monitor emerging market trends and shifts, staying informed about new product developments and competitive landscape.
  3. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across various assigned territories for extrusion machinery.
  4. Stay updated on industry dynamics, technological advancements, and competitor strategies to create pathways for the company into new and unconventional market segments.
  5. Act as a Key Account Manager, focusing on business generation, achieving annual operating plan targets, minimizing discounts, and enhancing overall profitability.
  6. Conduct regular customer visits to maintain relationships, convert prospects into repeat clients, and revive dormant accounts while attracting competitors' customers.
  7. Assess customer needs to ensure appropriate machine sizing and selection.
  8. Ensure timely submission of quotations and maintain consistent follow-up to secure business deals.
  9. Inspire and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on shared objectives, while recognizing and appreciating their contributions.

Team Structure:

This role is integral to the Sales Extrusion Team.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree with 10 to 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 5 years in sales. An MBA with sales experience in extrusion is preferred.
