Job Overview

Access Services is a leading human services non-profit organization providing housing supports in Montgomery County, PA. We are currently seeking a Housing Stability Specialist to join our team.

This role plays a critical part in supporting individuals to maintain their housing units and connect them with essential services, such as public benefits and employment support. As a Housing Stability Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, working closely with other Access Services teammates and community social services organizations to ensure they receive the necessary assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with individuals referred by social services partners and conduct regular visits to housed program participants to assess their housing stability needs.
  • Develop and update individualized housing stability plans every three months to ensure effective support and progress toward goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork systems to track housing move-in and recertification requirements.
  • Provide transportation support for participants to attend health appointments, job interviews, and other essential activities contributing to their housing stability.
  • Creatively develop solutions to address barriers that may impact housing stability and progress toward goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in social work, human services, business, or a related field (required).
  • One year of relevant experience in social services, real estate, affordable housing, or business (required).
  • Experience working in the housing system and/or human services in Montgomery County (strongly preferred).

Pay and Benefits

  • $20/hourly salary.
