Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Specialist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our cafe crew, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products, maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be a Team Player: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborating with cross-functional teams and helping educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
  2. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, understand and plan future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
  3. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  4. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and providing member service.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Be a brand advocate, developing, influencing, and inspiring others for working in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.

Estimated Salary

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
