About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Housing Stability Specialist to join our team at Access Services. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve and maintain stable housing, while also connecting them with essential services and resources.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of the housing system and human services landscape in Montgomery County. Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients to assess their housing stability needs and develop individualized plans to support them.
  • Collaborate with other Access Services teammates and community organizations to ensure seamless support and services.
  • Provide transportation support for clients to attend essential appointments and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork systems to track client progress and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in social work, human services, business, or a related field (required).
  • One year of relevant experience in social services, real estate, affordable housing, or business (required).
  • Experience working in the housing system and/or human services in Montgomery County (strongly preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

  • $20/hourly salary.
