Job Overview

If so, the role of a Guest Services Associate at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Cincinnati Downtown may be the perfect opportunity for you. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing their reservations and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.

Compensation:

$15 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in experience while providing room keys and relevant information.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and assist with room bookings, providing information on rates, availability, and hotel amenities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest accounts and transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure that guest rooms are prepared and ready for occupancy.
  • Remain active and engaged throughout your shift, typically lasting 8 hours in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservation management systems.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a hospitality role, particularly in front desk operations.
  • Ability to handle phone inquiries and manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods during a typical shift.
