The primary responsibility involves selecting food and non-food items from multi-level warehouse storage systems to fulfill customer orders. Selected items are organized on pallets, and completed orders are transported to the loading dock area using electric pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:Adhere to all safety protocols and preferred work methods as per company guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately.Review the work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Conduct safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are operational. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks in accordance with location and company standards.Utilize pallet jacks to navigate multi-level racks and locate products as specified in order sheets.Manually retrieve stock items from designated pick slots and racks as necessary, utilizing single or double pallets as instructed.Transport completed customer orders to the shipping dock staging area, which may include shrink-wrapping pallets for staging.Manage battery maintenance for equipment, ensuring proper functioning and completing vehicle inspection checklists. Secure all equipment and finalize paperwork at the end of the shift.Perform additional related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., construction, warehouse distribution, machine operation, agricultural work, freight handling, or similar positions requiring continuous activity and heavy lifting).

• Ability to work in various temperature zones, from freezers to non-air-conditioned environments.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, including materials, tools, methods, and instructions.

• Strong teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

• Commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Basic math and reading skills are essential.

• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Successful completion of a post-offer drug test and background check is required.
