The Warehouse Order Selector is responsible for selecting cases and containers of food and non-food products to fulfill customer orders from multi-level storage systems. The selected items are placed on pallets, and completed orders are transported to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack or forklift, ensuring that all safety regulations and quality standards are adhered to while maintaining an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:Adhere to all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures as per company guidelines. Ensure a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions immediately.Review the work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Conduct safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are operational. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.Meet productivity and accuracy standards as outlined by the location and company policies.Utilize pallet jacks to navigate multi-level racks and locate products according to order specifications.Manually place the correct stock items onto pallets from designated pick slots and racks as needed.Transport completed customer orders to the shipping dock staging area, which may include shrink-wrapping pallets for staging.Manage battery maintenance for equipment, ensuring charged batteries are in use and completing vehicle inspection checklists. Secure all equipment and finalize necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.Perform additional related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., construction, warehouse distribution, equipment operation, farming, freight handling, or similar positions requiring heavy lifting and continuous activity).

• Ability to work in varying temperature environments, from freezer conditions to non-air-conditioned areas during warmer months.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, including materials, tools, methods, and instructions.

• Strong team player with effective communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while producing quality work.

• Strong service orientation with basic math and reading skills.

• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Successful completion of a post-offer drug test and background check is required.
