The primary responsibility is to select cases and various containers of food and non-food items to fulfill customer orders from multi-level rack storage systems. Products are placed on pallets, and completed orders are transported to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack or forklift, wrapped, labeled, and prepared for shipment promptly while adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Collaborate as a team member within the department and organization, executing any assigned tasks to best support the company.

Key Responsibilities:Adhere to all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures as per company standards. Ensure a safe work environment and report any hazardous conditions or actions immediately.Review the work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Conduct a safety inspection on the pallet jack/forklift and ensure all safety devices are operational. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.Meet the required productivity and accuracy benchmarks set by the location and company guidelines.Utilize the pallet jack to navigate assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.Manually place the correct stock items on the pallet from pick slots and racks as necessary. Use single and/or double pallets as instructed.Transport completed customer orders to the shipping dock staging area. May need to shrink-wrap pallets for staging.Manage battery replacements for equipment, ensuring all tools are secured at the end of the shift and complete all required documentation.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a physically demanding, labor-intensive role (e.g., construction, distribution warehouse, equipment/machine operation, farm work, freight handling, or similar positions requiring continuous activity and heavy lifting across varying temperatures).

• Ability to work in different temperature zones, from freezer conditions to non-air-conditioned environments during summer.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.

• Adaptability to changes in the work environment, including the use of various materials/tools and methods.

• Strong team player with effective communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

• Commitment to producing quality work.

• Strong service orientation.

• Basic math and reading skills are required.

• Must be available for a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.
