Key Responsibilities
  • Material Procurement: Responsible for sourcing materials according to project specifications, which includes analyzing documentation to effectively manage online ordering systems.
  • Order Coordination: Streamline requests by verifying pricing and available discounts with suppliers, ensuring accurate and timely order placements.
  • Inquiry Management: Promptly address inquiries related to orders, including shipment timelines, freight types, and material handling.
  • Supplier Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to expedite material shipping and meet expectations for delivery.
  • Order Verification: Process order confirmations, ensuring product accuracy, quantity correctness, pricing verification, and invoice compliance.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide timely updates to customers regarding order status to enhance their experience.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate daily with the dispatch team to resolve any issues that may affect customer satisfaction, proactively identifying and addressing potential concerns.
  • Quote Management: Responsible for preparing and sending quotes to customers, following up to convert quotes into sales.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, self-motivation, and mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of contacts.
  • Experience in technical purchasing within the door, hardware, or security sectors is advantageous but not required.
  • A background in procurement is beneficial but not essential.
