Job Summary

Vivint, a leading smart home company, is seeking a seasoned Director of Program Management to lead our team of Program Managers within the Vivint Technology (VT) Digital Experience team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of programs, driving strategic vision, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

About the Role

  • Define program objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and VT Product Managers, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Support the professional growth and development of program managers and team members, providing mentorship, training, and opportunities for advancement.
  • Maintain and improve program management best practices, processes, and methodologies to optimize program performance and delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design.
  • Monitor program performance against key metrics and milestones, identifying risks and issues proactively and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders and leadership, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with VT Portfolio, Product Management, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize and allocate resources effectively, balancing competing demands and priorities across multiple programs and projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software program management experience
  • Experience using Smartsheet, Jira, SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies

Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
