Fairfield is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to enhance our team. This role is essential in maintaining the overall functionality and aesthetic of our residential properties.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Facilities Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in our Property Management Teams, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and that our residents are satisfied and comfortable. This position involves overseeing the maintenance operations and leading a diverse team to uphold the standards of our apartment communities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Property Maintenance: Supervise and schedule maintenance tasks across the property.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Monitor and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Emergency Response: Maintain availability for after-hours emergency maintenance needs.

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT:
  • Utilize property management software to track and manage service requests.
  • Oversee budget management and inventory control for maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & CUSTOMER SERVICE:
  • Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team, fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support team performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all residents, addressing concerns promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in building or apartment maintenance.
  • Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
  • HVAC-EPA certification is mandatory; CPO certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Flexibility to work on-call and during weekends, evenings, and holidays.
