This role is pivotal in overseeing the activities related to the design, maintenance, and operational management of manufacturing processes. The objective is to enhance the reliability, modification, and upkeep of the facility's physical infrastructure and the manufacturing equipment utilized in product production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees maintenance budgeting, planning, monthly reporting, and project management.
  • Directs the design, installation, and automation of vendor systems, including concept development, cost estimation, and installation proposals.
  • Establishes operational parameters for PLCs, sensors, automation, electrical systems, and other related technologies.
  • Responsible for training personnel on operational and maintenance systems.
  • Manages the upkeep of facility systems, including spare parts inventory, retrofitting, reliability enhancements, and system upgrades.
  • Supervises fire protection, environmental, and energy control systems.
  • Assists with the planning and continuous improvement of the SAP Maintenance Module.
  • Develops maintenance strategies aimed at boosting productivity, reliability, and safety.
  • Leads the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment, systems, and spare parts.
  • Oversees external contractors, consultants, and internal resources during project execution.
  • Collaborates with other department leaders to accomplish site projects.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Participates in Capital Expenditure planning.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing facility or maintenance engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Familiarity with high-temperature processing equipment, web converting, milling equipment, and 3D CAD/CAM.
  • Hands-on management and process engineering experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology, Lean Manufacturing principles, and quality systems such as QS and ISO.
  • Experience with environmental and OSHA regulation compliance is advantageous.
