Position Overview:

Advatix Inc. is seeking a highly skilled professional for the role of Director of Business Development. This pivotal position is responsible for ensuring that sales objectives are consistently achieved or surpassed. The ideal candidate will engage in professional trade to secure sales opportunities by collaborating closely with current active clients, revitalizing relationships with dormant clients, and identifying new business prospects. The Director will also work in tandem with the existing team to foster the accomplishment of established sales targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your innovative ideas, improve the customer experience in printing, and devise strategies for success across various sectors including retail, consumer packaged goods, finance, healthcare, quick service restaurants, and more. Our tailored solutions are designed to ensure that our clients' brand messages are both distinctive and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate effectiveness in prospecting and navigating through the stages of the purchasing process.
  • Articulate a clear vision of the offerings, effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Identify synergies between client challenges and marketing solutions.
  • Prioritize effectively to challenge the status quo.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal company resources.
  • Exhibit a driven and self-motivated approach.
  • Possess extensive experience in initiating and advancing buying processes, successfully navigating complex contract negotiations with large corporations.
  • Show a proven track record in selling intricate solutions at the executive level across various departments such as Procurement, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Have 5-7 years of experience in selling complex service solutions to executive decision-makers in large organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong prospecting and needs analysis capabilities.
  • Possess effective group presentation skills.
  • Experience with transactions of $1.5 million and above.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Adapt to a lengthy, strategic buying process (6 months or more).
  • Exhibit self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Thrive in a remote work environment with minimal oversight.
  • Lead in a team-selling environment.
  • Demonstrate a history of long-term employment (5 years or more).
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
