Job Description

Job Summary:

ITC Defense is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist Advanced to join their team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency Information Technology & Cybersecurity Management Program.

About the Job:

The Cybersecurity Specialist Advanced will be responsible for leading and executing Authorizing Official Team (AOT) Support, Cybersecurity Planning and Integration (CSP&I), and/or BMDS CND. This individual will integrate Department/Agency missions, organization, function, policies, and procedures securely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute AOT Support, CSP&I, and/or BMDS CND.
  • Integrate Department/Agency missions, organization, function, policies, and procedures securely.
  • Ensure acquisition of protection and detection capabilities is in line with IS security engineering approach.
  • Provide necessary IA training and certification to personnel performing IA functions.
  • Participate in IS risk assessment during the C&A process.
  • Establish information ownership responsibilities for each DoD IS and implement role-based access.
  • Analyze, develop, approve, and issue enclave IA policies.
  • Evaluate security solutions proposed to meet enclave requirements.
  • Identify IT security program implications of new technologies.
  • Evaluate security measures proposed in response to acquisition documents.
  • Ensure accepted products meet Common Criteria requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate enclave IA security procedures and safeguards.
  • Provide guidance for COOP development.
  • Track and report IAM review items.
  • Advise on changes affecting the enclave's IA posture.
  • Obtain and maintain appropriate IA baseline certification.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 15 years of IT experience, with 10 years dedicated to IAM.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Mastery of IAT Level I and IAT Level II CE and/or NE knowledge and skills with applicable certifications
    • IAM III IA Baseline Certification
    • CISM
    • CISSP (or Associate)
    • GSLC
    • CCISO

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with the Department of Defense (Agency or Military).
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
