Job Overview

Position Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Canvas Inc. is in search of a Cybersecurity Specialist to bolster our Security Division. The ideal candidate should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to our office for occasional in-person meetings. This role is pivotal in guiding management and technical teams in the formulation of security documentation in compliance with both new and existing regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing Structural Integrity Assessments of designated secure areas.
  • Conducting routine inspections and evaluations in Secure Zones.
  • Managing security access changes for storage facilities and laboratory entrances.
  • Gathering monthly documentation for secured storage locations.
  • Generating required security forms per laboratory or designated area.
  • Executing daily verifications of security logs to ensure compliance during non-operational hours.
  • Overseeing documentation related to security access and combinations.
  • Maintaining compliance with NSA APL; ensuring all products are current and distributing necessary updates.

Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain and sustain a Secret security clearance; an active clearance is preferred.
