Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist - The Opportunity:

As a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist on our team, you will provide consultancy to clients, spearhead the identification of their cyber vulnerabilities, comprehend relevant policies, and formulate a risk mitigation strategy.

Your role will involve overseeing the examination of technical, environmental, and system specifics from system owners, engineers, and administrators as you assess the entire threat environment.

You will then guide your clients through a structured plan of action and key milestones.

Your clients will depend on your expertise to convey security concepts in a manner that enables them to make informed decisions to safeguard their critical systems.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in evaluating the cybersecurity posture of IT, mission, space systems, or industrial control systems

Experience in deploying and utilizing cybersecurity monitoring or scanning tools

Familiarity with NIST standards and risk management frameworks

Understanding of cybersecurity regulations and controls pertinent to government mission systems, space systems, or industrial control systems

Ability to apply cybersecurity principles in non-enterprise environments

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II Certification, including GSEC, Security+CE, CISM, or GSLC

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Qualifications:

Experience in assessing or securing space systems

Experience in assessing or securing industrial control systems

Top Secret clearance

Master's degree

Clearance Requirements:


Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 annually.

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
