The Opportunity:

As a cybersecurity risk management expert on our team, you will collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity professionals as well as client leadership to identify cyber threats, comprehend relevant regulations, and formulate a risk mitigation strategy. You will gather technical, environmental, and personnel insights from subject matter experts and engineers to evaluate the complete threat landscape. Subsequently, you will assist your team in guiding the client through a strategic action plan with presentations, white papers, and defined milestones. Your role will involve translating security concepts for the client, enabling them to make informed decisions to safeguard their mission-critical systems, select appropriate tools, and enhance the security of their operations center. This is a chance to actively engage in cybersecurity while advancing your skills through immersion in the technical aspects of network protection. Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity capacity

- Proven experience in delivering operational security guidance and validating information systems using the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and local security protocols for application infrastructure

- Familiarity with Authority to Operate (ATO) package creation

- Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and DevSecOps principles and practices

- Proficiency in utilizing security tools, including Tenable Nessus or SecurityCenter, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, LogRhythm, or Network Mapper (NMAP)

- Top Secret clearance

- High School diploma or GED

- IAT Level II+ Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of security controls and monitoring in containerized environments

- Understanding of cloud-based networking

- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
