Location Overview:
The Marriott Phoenix Chandler is a premier Full-Service Marriott located in Chandler, Arizona, featuring 264 guest rooms and over 21,000 square feet of event space, including the largest ballroom in Chandler. Our hotel offers a vibrant dining experience with Proof 19, serving handcrafted cocktails and local cuisine, as well as a Proudly Brew Starbucks Café for morning refreshments.

Position Summary:
Availability: Candidates must have open availability, particularly on weekends, with varying start and end times.

Job Responsibilities:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming and registering guests, providing exceptional service, and finalizing guest accounts at the end of their stay while adhering to Five Star Service Standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival.
  • Communicate clearly and positively, responding to requests and providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Efficiently complete the registration process using our computer system, confirming guest details such as the number of occupants and room rates.
  • Promptly answer phone calls with a positive demeanor.
  • Manage guest messages and update profiles as necessary.
  • Assist guests with mail and package retrieval.
  • Address guest complaints by conducting thorough research to find effective solutions.
  • Remain calm and attentive during busy periods and emergencies.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Manager.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Familiarity with property management software is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Sound judgment and logical reasoning in evaluating situations.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
