Position Overview
Salary: Depending on Experience (DOE)
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of guest services related to lodging, ensuring a high standard of service while providing both direct and consultative oversight in areas such as pricing, inventory management, complimentary offerings, and daily operations, all while embodying the GILA WAY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to drive revenue and profitability growth for the organization, executing specific responsibilities to achieve these goals.
- Ensure seamless coordination among various functional teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, and front desk, regarding room availability, location, and condition.
- Manage scheduling for guest service departments, including front desk, concierge, and hotel valet/bell staff.
- Work closely with Revenue Audit to maintain accurate financial records and bank drops.
- Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly supervises multiple staff members and influences others across various levels of the organization, executing supervisory duties effectively.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in business, management, or hospitality preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel setting is required.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment and commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check is mandatory.
Physical Requirements:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

As a condition of employment, all new hires must successfully complete the following:
- Pre-employment Alcohol/Drug Test, which includes a standard seven-panel test, excluding marijuana for non-safety sensitive positions.
- Background check; applicants with felonies, warrants, outstanding tickets, shoplifting, or theft convictions will be ineligible for employment.
