Location Overview:
The Marriott Phoenix Chandler, located in Chandler, Arizona, is the newest Full-Service Marriott in the region. With 264 guest rooms and over 21,000 square feet of event space, it boasts the largest ballroom in Chandler. Guests can enjoy local cuisine and handcrafted beverages at our on-site restaurant and café.

Position Summary:
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service. This position requires OPEN AVAILABILITY, particularly on weekends, with varying start and end times.

Key Responsibilities:
The Front Desk Agent's primary duties include:

  • Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor.
  • Utilizing clear communication to address guest inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Efficiently managing the registration process and confirming guest details.
  • Answering phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Updating guest profiles and managing messages.
  • Handling guest complaints with thorough research and effective solutions.
  • Maintaining calm and composure during busy periods and emergencies.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Manager.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant guest service experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Familiarity with property management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
