Role Summary

The Event Safety Coordinator will oversee the San Francisco sector of the Event Safety Division at Joffe Emergency Services. This role will serve as the main liaison for the San Francisco area and will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture partnerships with local venues and stakeholders within the event sector.
  • Fulfill assigned EMT roles during special events as needed.
  • Organize event scheduling, communication, and logistical arrangements for all local events.
  • Supervise and maintain all equipment and supplies pertinent to the region.
  • Generate and provide leads to the Event Safety sales team.
  • Under the guidance of the National Director, oversee all subordinate staff in the San Francisco area, including training, employee engagement, and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Manage medical documentation.
  • Accountable for incident reporting.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specific events and venues.
  • Oversee billing processes.
  • Authorize payroll.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of managerial experience in event safety services at a prominent venue, with a proven track record of effectively integrating services with facility and public safety teams.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, as the position will frequently require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Event shifts may arise with little notice.
  • Strong administrative capabilities, with a preference for knowledge in scheduling and incident documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, as this role will require acting as the primary contact for clients in the San Francisco area.
  • EMT certification is mandatory.
