San Francisco, California, United States Patch Technologies, Inc Full time

About Patch Technologies, Inc

A sustainable future relies on effective climate solutions — and these solutions require substantial financial backing to expand. One of the most impactful financial mechanisms to support climate initiatives at scale is carbon credits.

Patch serves as the platform that propels climate solutions with integrity. Our technology empowers organizations to efficiently manage, buy, and sell carbon credits with transparency and rigor. Through Patch, companies gain access to an extensive network of high-integrity carbon credits. Suppliers utilize Patch to enhance operational efficiency and improve buyer experiences, facilitating companies in achieving their climate objectives, enabling project developers to scale their solutions, and ultimately contributing to the rebalancing of our planet.

Position Overview:

In this position, you will be pivotal in driving Patch's success within the enterprise sector. You will significantly influence the company's growth, product development, and strategic direction. Your role will involve expanding our customer base, cultivating relationships, and steering the sales process from initial prospecting through to credit purchase and subsequent growth. As part of the founding team of Enterprise Account Executives, you will leverage your creative problem-solving skills to address market needs and negotiate successful deals that advance Patch's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Conduct thorough discovery sessions with prospects to identify their needs and challenges.
  • Advocate for Patch's value proposition and present our solutions to decision-makers at organizations committed to climate action.
  • Establish enduring relationships with key stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor with expertise in climate issues.
  • Identify avenues for growth and new product development to guide the company's strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to address customer needs effectively.
  • Occasionally travel for events, client meetings, and internal initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • You possess extensive experience managing complex sales cycles with large organizations (1,000+ employees) from initiation to completion, consistently exceeding sales targets in dynamic environments.
  • You adopt a results-oriented approach to sales, demonstrating exceptional time management skills while balancing various responsibilities such as pipeline generation, relationship management, and closing activities.
  • You are enthusiastic about cross-functional collaboration at Patch (sales, marketing, product, engineering) to deliver results for clients and prospects.
  • You have successfully launched new products or solutions in the market and possess a proven ability to challenge conventional practices. Experience in Challenger Sales methodologies is advantageous.
  • You exhibit a professional demeanor when engaging with decision-makers and can effectively collaborate with diverse personas within a decision-making committee.
  • You are passionate about environmental sustainability and thrive in a mission-driven workplace.
  • You are prepared to work from the office a few days a week.

Why Choose Patch:

  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team in the climate technology sector.
  • Competitive compensation package and meaningful equity options.
  • Monthly wellness stipend to support mental and physical health.
  • Flexible vacation policy allowing for as-needed time off.
  • Comprehensive parental leave benefits.
