Position Summary

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our retail team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about the cannabis industry and are committed to fostering growth and development within our organization. The Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for team members, ensuring that customer service excellence and effective communication are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing team dynamics and providing guidance to team members.
  • Supervise daily operations and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Engage with customers and staff in a respectful and positive manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage inventory processes and uphold best practices in stock management.
  • Handle cash management and oversee register operations.
  • Act as a resource for team members regarding product knowledge and customer inquiries.
  • Participate in community events and represent the company professionally.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $29.00, depending on experience. Eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail management.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medicinal cannabis and its effects.
  • Experience in the medical cannabis sector is highly desirable.
  • Background in health and wellness services is a plus.

Work Environment

The Retail Operations Supervisor will work in a dynamic retail setting with moderate to high noise levels. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
