Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an engaging atmosphere where service excellence is paramount.
  • Oversee the precise check-in and check-out procedures for guests.
  • Maintain friendly and informative interactions with all guests.
  • Ensure that all accommodations are prepared and cleaned prior to guest arrival.
  • Process charges and settle accounts, ensuring proper authorization.
  • Manage various payment methods and secure necessary approvals.
  • Handle an operating cash drawer and provide change as needed.
  • Assist in booking reservations for hotel guests and special events.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of messages, mail, and packages to guests and departments.
  • Oversee safe deposit transactions.
  • Collaborate with Senior Executive Host to offer complimentary services.
  • Efficiently resolve guest inquiries and issues.
  • Stay updated on hotel, community, and special events.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude towards all guests.
  • Guide and mentor fellow employees while upholding company standards.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks diligently.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Experience in data entry and public interactions is necessary.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operations is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and LMS is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the local area is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours is expected.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Position primarily involves standing with some walking.
  • May require physical exertion.
  • Requires bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to work in environments with second-hand smoke.
