Your Role as an Electrical Project Engineer:

As a key member of our team, you will engage in forensic examinations related to electrical incidents and failures. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of engineers and specialists, you will investigate the origins and root causes of various electrical issues, including accidents and equipment malfunctions. Your expertise will be vital in assisting clients with informed decision-making and resolving intricate legal and insurance challenges.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of electrical failures in diverse settings, evaluating design quality and maintenance practices.
  • Lead field assessments and document damages for comprehensive analyses.
  • Research failure mechanisms and propose effective repair or remediation strategies; prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with clients through active engagement.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the relevant state is necessary (or in progress).
  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in the electrical engineering domain.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations (25-30%); ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with forensic investigation methodologies is advantageous.
  • Five years of experience in evaluating electrical failures in commercial or industrial environments is preferred.
  • Experience with power systems (generators, transformers, switchgear, etc.) is a plus; electro-mechanical knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with legal professionals, insurance firms, and adjusters is preferred.
