Business Development Director

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Korn Ferry Digital. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting them into clients, and collaborating with sales leaders on high-priority prospects.

You will accomplish this through your ability to sell our full range of solutions in a consultative manner, negotiate effective contracts, and tailor solutions to meet client needs. This role requires high-level execution at every stage of the sales process.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities include:

  • Developing strategic business plans to maximize revenue from new clients by addressing their unique needs and opportunities
  • Effectively researching prospect organizations to understand industry segments, key business drivers, and situational factors
  • Delivering compelling presentations that compel new and dormant clients to work with us
  • Building a strong internal network of resources and working effectively with them to build solutions and deliver against client needs
  • Building reliable, sustainable relationships with key client buying influences
  • Aligning with professional services and client management organizations to ensure seamless client transitions

Professional Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Extensive enterprise sales experience in complex business environments, ideally including SaaS services sales to the C-Suite
  • Insatiable curiosity and drive to succeed
  • Perseverant and upbeat attitude
  • Previous success in sales or business development roles selling services
  • Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
  • Experience with developing new business and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Strong pipeline analysis and opportunity forecasting skills
  • Strong customer-centered selling skills
  • Very strong influence skills
  • Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills
  • Solutions-oriented with an understanding of working with senior-level management

Education:

Bachelor's degree desired. Advanced degree in business or a similar field is a plus.
