Technical Support Specialist

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in our organization, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems. You will be the primary contact for resolving technical issues and enhancing system performance, directly contributing to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain application systems, troubleshooting issues to guarantee optimal functionality and minimal interruptions.
- Install, upgrade, and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software.
- Assist users with inquiries and problems, delivering first and second-level support while escalating complex matters to senior IT personnel as needed.
- Provide remote support for various locations.
- Administer user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
- Document all technical processes and user manuals for supported applications.
- Educate and assist users on new features and functionalities.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to boost system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- 1+ year of experience in Technical Support or relevant internship experience is preferred. A degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline may substitute for experience. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- A proactive approach to learning and a desire to acquire new skills through hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with computer networking protocols, hardware, and software (including cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, Access Points, and VPN clients).
