Position Overview:
The Client Relations Specialist will serve as the primary liaison for Ilmor Marine, handling all sales and service inquiries.

You will manage incoming phone calls and email requests, addressing a range of topics from general questions to technical support for our Sales & Service Centers (SSC), and occasionally interacting with boat owners directly.

Your role will involve delivering professional and enthusiastic service by responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate member of our Customer Experience Team.

Act as the main point of contact for all incoming communications, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging consultations to customers over the phone, including basic marine engine troubleshooting, technical support for service centers, and warranty information.

Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, issues, comments, and actions taken.
Assist with warranty data management.
Support parts lookup and special-order inquiries for the service team.
Collaborate with the sales team on order entry and sales order creation.
Work closely with our Supply Chain and eCommerce Inventory teams to facilitate parts ordering and shipping.
Assist with travel coordination as needed.
Occasional travel may be required, depending on business needs.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of prior administrative experience in an Automotive/Marine setting.
Must be organized, capable of multitasking, and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Empathetic towards customers, confident, and able to engage with clients in a friendly manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Functional knowledge of the marine industry and powertrain engines.
Consistently positive, empathetic, and dependable.
Ability to manage personal and others' time effectively.
Strong critical thinking skills for problem-solving.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
The employee will be required to manage phone communications and computer tasks throughout the workday.
Some overtime may be necessary during peak seasons.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand.

The employee frequently uses hands and fingers to handle objects, operate tools or controls, and may need to climb or balance.

The employee occasionally walks, reaches with hands and arms, kneels, crouches, crawls, and engages in verbal communication.
