About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare IT Administrator to join our team at Brown University Health. This is a full-time position working shift 1, Monday to Friday.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of laboratory information systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data management and analysis. This role also involves providing technical supervision and training to assigned personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality initiatives into job performance.
  • Provide functional supervision of staff assigned on LIS projects.
  • Estimate, plan, and schedule personnel and other resources required to implement application projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, microbiology, or related area with national certification (or eligible) in medical laboratory science or medical technology by ASCP or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of progressively more responsible work experience required, including two to three years of lead or supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Three to five years of experience with LIS installations and/or operations.

Benefits and Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
