Lifespan Corporation is seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Rhode Island Hospital. This is a part-time position with various shifts available.

Job Description:

The Healthcare Support Specialist provides critical support to our healthcare team by assisting with patient care, administrative tasks, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as emptying trash and restocking supplies
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and processing paperwork
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in Rhode Island
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
